TEAM DRIVER PACKAGE

Team drivers find that Southern Cal offers everything to meet their needs, from great miles and steady freight to great pay and predictable home time when you need it.

To provide service to our dependable customer network, Southern Cal drivers are required to have a Hazardous Materials endorsement on their CDL. We will provide assistance to you to help you obtain the endorsement, and reimburse the cost of your required background check.

Other Pay & Increase Information

        Increases: 1/2 CPM annual increase each year at anniversary date until a max of $0.215 is reached
        Equation: $0.021 Max ROP plus $0.005 for HazMat = $0.215

        Productivity Bonus: $.10 per mile (paid to truck, split between partners) for all miles over 52,000/quarter

        Stop-Off Pay: $10 each driver

        Layover Pay: $35 per day, per driver OVER 24 hourse (Loads are 80% drop & hook, so layover is very rare)

        Vacation Pay: After 1 full year of service, paid at anniversary date

        Holiday Pay: $50 (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day)

        Lumper Fees: Paid for, although unloading is rare

        Pay Frequency: Direct Deposit weekly and no Hold Back

        Per Diem (Tax Deferment): Optional

        Referral Bonus: $1,000 for team, $500 for company driver or Owner Operator

        ($18/week - Single, $76/week - Single +1, $98/week - Family) Active first day of the month after 90 days employment

        Life Insurance: $10,000 at no charge

        Other Insurance: Optical and Dental available at reasonable rates

        401(k): Southern Cal matches 50% of your first 4%

Other Benefits of Driving

        Home Time: Consistent home time. Teams run 3 weeks straight, followed by 3 days of earned rest.
        How many days you run is up to you, and you will earn as many corresponding rest days as you want.
        Some teams run 3-4 weeks to earn 3-4 days, some run 6 weeks to earn 6 days. It's entirely up to you.

        Rider Program: Spouse, child (10 years or older), or parent

        Pet Policy: Dogs welcome

        PrePass/EZ Pass: Furnished at no charge

        Axle Scale Weighing: Paid

        True PrePlan Dispatch System: Typically, you will know which loads you will handle the next day

        Fleet Management: You will speak with the same person every day

        Open Door: Every Southern Cal door is open to you. Be a part of the organization, on and off the road.
